that are spread out from the base of your spine (1) to the top of your head.(7) The FIRST Chakra are also called the Root Chakra.You may find it curious, that #1 does not actually start at the top of your head as traditional numbering might suggest.In fact the seven main Chakra go from bottom to top. (Sahasrara)...The Crown Chakra
7,Located at the crown of your head, deals with your connection to the divine, within you and all around you. Physically, it supports your central nervous system and deep brain functions. A person who is familiar with reiki may even remark " You are channeling your "upper!" and mean it as a compliment to you.

Sometimes, a Sanskrit name (Ajna) is used instead of plain English because the study of the chakra system as we know it in our modern Western culture originates mostly from yogic traditions from India.
Intuition, sense of purpose and direction in life Located right in the center of your forehead and deals with intuition, your sense of purpose and direction in life. Physically, it supports your upper frontal sinuses, eyes, ears, and the outer layers of your brain.
